URA Advisory Board Meeting
The advisory board meeting on 6 July 2021 was the first conference of the selected German and Chinese representatives of the advisory board of the BMBF-funded research project Urban-Rural Assembly (URA). The meeting was jointly facilitated by Prof. Phillip Misselwitz (TU Berlin) and Prof. Yang Guiqing (Tongji University). Participating advisory board members included Prof. Dr Beate Jessel, Dr Eduard Koegel, and Prof. Dr. em. Johannes Kuechler, Prof. Antje Stokman, Prof. Dr. Elena Meyer-Clement, Prof. Zhao Min, and Associate Prof. Dr. Hou Wei.
The aim of the event was to the mutual introduction of selected advisory board members and presentation of the conceptual framework, design and methods, milestones, and preliminary results of the joint URA project. In addition, strategic recommendations of advisory boards for the further direction of the project were collected and discussed with scientists of the URA consortium. At the end of the meeting, formats for further cooperation were deliberated and recorded.
